Instructions have students use notebook paper and pens pencils to pen a letter to a friend explaining what they did over summer break.
When the music stops they need to find the four other cards that go with their card. Tell the students that you are going to turn the music on. This writing activity walks students through the process of writing a letter and introduces them to a basic outline they can use to organize their thoughts. After they have done that they need to stand holding their cards in the order of a letter.
