Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit. It is designed for teachers and early years workers to use to assess literacy difficulties and dyslexia and to help them in both identifying and supporting pupils with dyslexia. Identification and assessment the toolkit supports a holistic and collaborative approach to identification and assessment as part of a dynamic process within learning.
The new addressing dyslexia toolkit 2017 is a free online resource funded by the scottish government managed by dyslexia scotland and developed by the toolkit working group. The free online addressing dyslexia toolkit can be viewed at the following link. The making sense working group are working with stakeholders to support the implementation of the 5 inter connecting recommendations supporting schools and local authorities improve the outcomes for learners who are dyslexic and inclusive practice.
